The YC edition is a performance-oriented sock with a high degree of elasticity, allowing it to mold to any foot shape without slipping. The sophisticated weaving process gives the multi-zone Flare excellent arch support, breathability, and a solid cushioning layer.

I would say that it is a very good choice for mountain running as well as on asphalt!
